Everything from April to May (almost everything)

So we have done a lot and I am going to share it with you. Here are some pics-
The old trailer on campus is now gone!

 Good bye!

We had a long car ride. In 3 days we visited the other CCCD campuses: Knockpatrick, Kingston, and the Deaf Village (also the place we stayed over night)

Here is some scenery from Montego Bay to Mandaville- the city where JDV (the Deaf Village) is located. This place is called the Bamboo Avenue, it used to be so thick with bamboo, you could hardly see daylight while in it!

                                More scenery...

Here is the view from JDV

Here is the Kingston campus

While we were there we saw a pretty cool lizard!
(in the second pic, the lizard is in the center, but well camouflaged!)

Also while in Kingston we went to the only Subway on the island!!!!

Here is the Knockpatrick campus

Then we headed back to Montego Bay.

Mom's rose bushes (that she got for her anniversary) have really started producing some blooms!

                  Pretty!!!!

And here are some more pics...

Pickle's lego dinosaur or maybe it was a giraffe (right) And chef Bubba(left)
I got to lead Council Time at Awana last Sunday!

I am also learning that Zachary can be very photogenic when he wants to be. Also he is trying sooooo hard to walk and is figuring out how to get the front door (below).

Zac are you reading already?  Lol!
Ali sharing cake with Randy. He and his wife Cheryl are here visiting for Cheryl's birthday. This is Ali's "boyfriend" which is funny because he is a pharmacist and she strongly dislikes medicine! Who would have thought....
                                                                                                                                    Ali's lego flower

And I am happy because I now have my own room!!! It is the first time in 2 tears, oh sure I gave up a/c for it but it was worth it!!! I will soon be starting to put leopard print up on the wall. Actually I was going to yesterday, but when I tried mixing colors to get a bark brown/black, I got GREY!!!!!! I am not sure how that happened, but now I am waiting for black paint...I need to be going now, but there is a verse from the Bible that I want to share with you. It is from Psalm 150:6  Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!

Starting Up Again

We are starting up another busy year of workteams. We have had 3 so far and next week we will have our 4th. I have enjoyed all of the groups and appreciate all that they have done, but the 8th grade group (teens my age) from Bowling Green, Kentucky is probably my favorite so far. I got to work all week with them and went on almost all of the outings they went. I was especially grateful that they  seemed to accept me into their group.  Here is a pic of me working with them...we are putting up forms so we can pour concrete, then insert glass. We got a TON done!
(I am in the green shirt in case you missed me)
And here are some more pics...

Zac (above) is officially crawling around fast!
Pickle (left) was hurt a few days ago. A folding table fell on his foot and popped the toenail out of the cuticle, lucky for us there was a nurse on last team, and she helped bandage it. (It is currently black.) He says that it is starting to feel better.
Well I probably should be going, but I hope to blog again soon, and thanks for reading!
